In villages and even in cities lot of people of all age groups visits the nearby temples daily. they go around the GHARBHA GRAHA in circles as prathikshana till they are satisfied. so many sit inside the temple in silence for hours. this ritual of taking a bath, visiting the temple on empty stomach is almsot like a ritual to lot of people.people are trying to reduce stress, tension by doing meditaion, yoga, some join humour clubs, health clubs, so many ways they are trying to attain mental peace. the most simple and effective, ever lasting solution for peace is our temples.the energy level present inside the temples, the positive vibrations, the mystique peace surrounding the deities will give us such energy and strength to sustain the stress. go with open mind and absorb the subtle energy present there. if possible visit morning, and evening or night. do this notice the changes.

Devi Bhaghavathi, mother to all ,the universal mother symbol especially to people from kerala listens to our wishes, grievances and bless us with her beautiful smile and grace. devotees used to offer various items for her worship. offering of kumkum, flowers, garland, specially stiched pavadai are the most offered items. offering of any kind with love and devotion is important not the value of the item. for maintaining any temple, doing daily pujas, some daily used items are needed, like flowers, oil, kumkum, sandal paste, agarbatis, karpoor, garlands etc. these items are not expensive and any devotee can contribute in a small way.if u drop even a rupee at the money collection box is enough. most of the temples in india are running with devotees contributions. in this stressful times people can make visiting temple early morning daily as a habit. this will reduce stress level. when u absorbe the early morning vibrations from the temple, it has a very soothening effect on ur body and mind.

om namo narayana. i remember the sweet taste of kheer-paal payasam of this temple when ever i try to make the kheer at home. when enquired the temple authorities told me that this prasad favourite for Lord Padhmanba is made in a traditional manner. early morning around 4 a.m. the cook will star boiling the red rice and fresh milk in a big HUNDI- URULI in slow flame.he will simmer it till the quantity is reduced to half and the color turned to creamy red. no flavour like elaichi or garnishing with nuts. this payasam will be offered to Lord first as neivedyam then to the maharaja family, the rest will be distributed to devotees on nominal rates. you have to book at the temple office. nobody can make this kheer like this because it is Lord's own prasad. when you visit tvm dont forget to taste the payasam.
