om namo narayani. chenthittai devi is worshipped on all nine days of navaratri. devi worship is followed all over india;different regions follow different rituals, but the basic customs are same. devi-maa is mother goddess,the universal mother. she is called in different names like durga, bhagavathi, karthiyayani, kanyakumari, rajarajeswari, lalitha,kamakshi, meenashi, dakshayani, vaishnavi etc. invoking the goddess by reciting her names is an important part of this puja. elaborate arrangements are made for the devotees, and huge idols of durga are installed for the 4 days puja. the beating of drums, flowers, garlands, agarbatis, everything add to the festive mood. people really enjoy this navaratri. bhakti is part of our life. surrendering to god is the ultimate end of a human life. when our life follows the dharma route there will be no tension or problems. reaching god through bhakti yoga is the easiest way for us. i offer my pranams to bhagavathi.

Devi is celebrating navratri in great splendour. she will be decorated as Durga on ashtami day. on navami day she will took the form of saraswathi with veena and on DASAMI day on Dasara as vijayalakshmi. i am imagining her beauty and offering my prayers to her. in india navratri will be celebrated in different ways. bengalis will worship goddess durga on the last four days of navratri in great style.Ram leelas and ravan vath will follow on dasara day. women and children especially enjoy this festival. some follow strict fasting,eating food with out rice and grains, some without salt, some eat once fruits and milk. goddess gives strength to these devotees to sustain. the colourful dresses, dances, pujas till late night mark this festival as a divine experience. playing garba till early morning is how gujarat celeberate this festival. i offer my humble prayers to Bhagavati amman.
