Reconnection to God is necessary as we are lost in material existence only. Most people go to temples to redress grievances and not actual love for the creator. Our spiritual awakening is required so that we get reconnected.

amma bhaghavati-my mother. goddess bhaghavati is my mother for this birth and eternity.she looked after me all these years,i went through the most difficult times with her blessings. amma blessed me with such inner strength to go through this life. i pray to her, no more rebirth cycle for me. she is there for centuries, watching the life and death of her devotees for generations. my family also staying near her for centuries. she knows all the happennings in our family, the future as well. i know the cycle of life, the samaya chakra does its duty without fail.every thing is predestined. this is oneof the unsolved mysteries of life.when i tried to imagine my mother in her full glory, she eluded my vision. mere mortals can only worship her. she is the universal mother and knows which is best for her children. i offer my pranams to amma.

om namo narayana.Mr. Pratap always recommends connectivity to the supreme being, the divine power. the great sages from the ancient times have this connection with the Brahaman by doing bhor tapasya for long years. even though the mortals, humans have very limited power, short lifespan, they can attain some divine power by meditation. when i visited a saint from Himalayas along with my sisters and friends, all of us very young, the saint was at one of our friend's home, we all went with her, and were asked by the elders to do namaskarams in front of the Guru. he was sitting there in saffron robes, in deep meditation with closed eyes, one by one we offered our pranams to him silently. actually at that age we the children have no idea about holy men their powers, nothing. when i prostrated after my sister, suddenly he opened his eyes; said some thing in a unknown language, rubbing his forehead. the men who were with this swamiji, translated his words,he warned a bad time about to fall on my family, adviced us to leave the place for protection. all of us being very young and ignortant failed to understand the meaning or the forewarning. but his predictions became true. even today i am wondering, why this holyman's predictions are addressed to me, when other members of our family are also present. which divine power is responsible for this act? this is still a mystery and i often wondered about this incident.he might have attained this divine power to have this vision-inner vision. i am sending my pranams to this holy spirit. om namo narayana.

This is one of the oldest residential colonies in Trivandrum. Formed in 1964-65 by the then City Improvement Trust (CIT).
There were 36 houses to begin with, later 6 more were added and then came two more-now 44 houses.EMS, stayed in House No 10 in this colony for a long time when he was Chief Minister in 1967 period. A number of newspaper offices were located here before they started their Trivandrum Editions. The colony is the most central one in the City, with Bus Stand, Railway Station, Secretariat, Colleges, Schools all within 1-2 kms. Now some commercial establishments have also moved in. Still it is a residential area.

om namo narayana. Lord padhmanabha protects the tvm city, and the tourists thronged to visit this temple for his holy darshan. there are replicas of this temple in some other parts of our country as well. but devotees must visit the abode of lord atleast once in their life.in our short life span, it is not possible to visit so many beautiful temples buit by maharajas centuries ago;but we should try to have darshan of some of the very famous temples. some people made plans to visit temples once in a year, which is very good for physical and mental rejuvenation. some cities are built around temples, like kancheepuram, madurai, kanyakumari, chithambaram. tanjore, palani etc. the city lives around these temples only.our country is famous for such temples and ashrams, our culture, beliefs, our roots are inter mingled here.people belong to certain places by birth and remain like that till end. we all belonged to lord padhmanabha's lotus feet and wish to reach them at the end.

om namo narayani.pl accept my humble prayers and protect my family.people who visit Thiruvanandapuram city in keral state are not aware of this beautiful bhagavathi temple, because iiit is not popularised by the tourism department. tourist who came to this city ususally visit the famous ananda padhmanabha swamy temple only. there are small but beautiful temples around there, like srivaragam temple with varagha moorthy swamy, srikandeswara temple, subramaniya swamy temple etc. if the govt covers all these temples under tourism, the devotees can have darshan of the deities in one go. srivaragam temple is very calm and quiet with a pond, devotees go for their job search. most of the temples are very old, they still maintain their old traditions with rituals and it is very pleasing to visit such abodes of gods.even today, nambhoothiris conduct the pujas in all these temples.when u enter such temples, the divine energy envelopes u gives u such peace of mind mere words cannot describe such feelings. i request the temple committee to maintain such beautiful temples in such a way that devotees are compelled to visit again and again. i hope my bhagavathi amman mandir will be very famous through out the country with her blessings. om namo narayani.
