om namo bhagavathiyae namaha.Amma-mother watches over her devotees whereever they go.She listens, sometimes she relents, sometime very strict like a biological mother. When you worship a god, it gives tremendous pleasure to decorate her with ornaments, flowers, clothes etc.You offer lot of things to her;when she appears in her full glory, you are very happy, feel like her mother.A mother, bathes, brushes, apply perfumes, put new dress to her child for her own satisfaction only. The baby has no idea or wishes to be dressed, the infant is like god. We visit temples on auspicious days,to have a glimpse of mother inspite of huge crowds. Temple darshan gives u such happiness.Lot of devotees might have thronged this devi temple today, mahar sankranti day. I offer my humble prayers to her lotus feet.

om namo narayana. i think Lord shiva symbolises the end of life. chanting of om nama shivaya hs this effect on ur mind. suddenly u feel above all the worldly things. lord hari, especially krishna symbolises the life, his leelas gives a colour to life. god is one, whatever name u call him, but we humans for our own satisfaction created such differences.People have no time to read scriptures now, most of us have no basic knowledge about our puranas, lot of youth dont know ramayana or mahabharat. western food, dress, music, culture are the norm of today's youth. Lot of festivals are forgotten, the rest,no idea why we are celebrating? Teaching our culture from the cross root level may bring back the glory of HINDU CULTURE back. May be it is too late.

om namo bhaghavathiyae namaha. i pray to my mother goddess to save this world from evil forces. there is some sadness in the air, the time is very stressful and humans need divine help at this time. lot of people are losing their jobs' salary cuts; cost; the world is going through such a crisis as it faced during the world war times. when we fell helpless we always turn to god to save us. constant prayer and faith can do wonders. pl pray with faith and leave the result to her hands. mother will listen.

Its pathetic to see the stadium being used for activities other than sports. In ancient civilizations stadiums were used for the sole purpose it was built for and every activity had its own venue. Are we not misusing the stadium and why not conduct these activities at other befitting places?. I endorse the views of Mr Kapil.

Both Hari and Haran are the same. That is what is symbolised by the Shiva Lingam near the idol of Lord padmanabha of this temple. They are one and should be treated so. But for human beings, eventhough it is easy to understand, still we don't. why? Advaita siddantha preached by Great Shankaracharya is the answer for everything.

this temple is visited by devotees during navaratri festival. the temple is big with longcorridors and open spaces, very nice quiet place. i have no idea whether this temple is renovted recently or it is keeping the old charm. devotees of bhagavathi amman always built a temple for her for their worship like lord guruvayurappan devotees do. on namo narayani.

om namo bhagavati. it is nice knowing a devotee, her devotion love to goddess. mother bhagavati has this tremendous love and affection for her children. some how, mother always send her message to me through some person. i always wonder about this. when ever i visit my hometown, after only a few minutes of my arrival, some one from the family, neighbours, or servants will ask me[isn't it time for u visit the temple after ur bath? this question, a sort of reminder is always directed to me only. i failed to recognise her love and compassion in the begining, later realised my folly after that no turning back. whereever i go i can visualise her glory and call her. once girl children were given names like bhagavathi, bhargavi, parvati, gowri etc, calling their names means calling the goddess ,chanting her name in different ways. but thoses days are gone, modern names without any meaning are given to children now.devi will bless and protect her children without fail. please bless us all.

om namo narayana. Lord padhmanabha 's temple is unique to tvm city only. i think ,the replicas of this temple is very rare in other parts of india. i think there is one temple at chennai. lord vishnu in this ananda sayanam pose, reclining on adiseshan is the most prefered form of worship. in srirangam, HE is Ranghanathar,at guruvayur he is in standing posture as lord guruvayurappan.lord vishnu, took nine avatars so far, the tenth kalki avatar is awaited in future, the puranas says so;the human forms of rama and krishna are worshipped most by the devotees. lot of temples of radha and ram sita, but vishnu temples are very few.some times we get the feeling that the reclining pose of vishnu reminds us the end of this yug, god is taking rest at the end in this pose. lot os interesting stories are there in our puranas, predicting the end of this earth. their predictions are turning true now. pray to the lord to save us.
