The lineage of people (the genetical quality is entirely different from the rest of the people int the area). Whether the diety is Bhadrakali or Chamundi or Bhagavathi. Going by the event the diety seems to the CHAMUNDY(RAKTHA) but now projection is to Bhadrakali. The "ooruchuttal" and consequent crackers(vedikettu) is an attempt to project the temple to Bhadrakali. Going by the principle, Bhadrakali temple has enormous growth in a short duration and so is its receding. Pooja principles and practices may now concentrate on Bhadrakali relegating Chamundi.
